Apple will soon release an update for its Apple Watch that fixes an issue brought by the last software update. Specifically, watchOS 8.3 introduced a bug that prevented some chargers from functioning correctly. Now, the issue is resolved by watchOS 8.4. The update is set to roll out soon.
For now, watchOS 8.4 is only available to the beta testers and developers, as per MacRumors. Anyways, the release note did say that the update will fix an issue that is preventing some Apple Watch chargers to charge the device; eventually leaving them useless.
It appears as if the watch OS 8.3 issue is mainly affecting the Apple Watch 7. Watch 7 owners previously reported that they are unable to charge their devices or issues similar to that. Obviously, you don’t want to be in a situation like that; particularly when it is a daily use device.
Moreover, the issue is not limited to a certain charger. Reports suggest that the problem has impacted both Apple Watch chargers as well as 3rd party chargers. MacRumors have revealed that even the top-notch chargers are facing the same issue.

Release date of watchOS 8.4
As of now, we are not sure about the public release date of watch OS 8.4. how however the company has rolled out the same for beta testers. So we expect a quick release. Anyways we will have to wait to see when the update actually arrives. If reports are to be believed, we could see a January end launch.
Furthermore, we believe that the actual update will not be any different than the current beta version.
Additionally, it remains to be seen whether or not the new update can solve the core issue. That said, the update is targeted to solve the issue; at least according to the release notes.
