Samsung Users Facing Google Keep Bug

Samsung Exynos 2022

Without a doubt, Google is one of the best note-taking apps for Android users. It has been around since 2013. You can understand if something is around for this long, it has the features to stand against the tide of time. However, its users are now facing a new issue, particularly the Samsung ones. If we go into the details about the issue, the app is facing some kind of problem with numbered and bulleted lists.

What’s more, this issue has been around for a while now. The first case was reported on Google Forum in late November, last year. If a user was trying to add new items to an auto-numbered list or go through the note; the app would add extra copies of that number to each item list. Many users were facing the same issue and some of them came forward to report the problem. The reported issues included some extending to the total loss of their notes; it was spotted by 9to5Google.

The most interesting aspect about the new issue is that only Samsung users are experiencing this problem; that too with devices with Android installed. Specifically, the list of affected devices, includes S21+, S21 Ultra, S21, S20, S10, and Note20 Ultra devices. The rosy side of the issue is; it is not that widespread. That said, there is no fix at the moment, even the company has not acknowledged the issue. So, it will take time to arrive at a possible fix. However, a moderator is investigating the issue.
