Truecaller 12 is available with a new design and free call recording feature.

Truecaller 12

Truecaller’s newest version of the app for Android smartphones has been released. For both free and subscription customers, Truecaller 12 has a revamped UI as well as several handy functions. The most recent version includes a revamped layout that separates the formerly combined sections for calls and SMS messaging. For consumers who receive a lot of SMS messages, the new interface looks cleaner and should be easier to use.

Truecaller 12 now has a new Video Caller ID function. The feature enhances the app’s hallmark Caller ID function by allowing users to customize their Caller ID identification with a short video clip. This brief clip is safely saved on Truecaller servers and is displayed to contacts when they attempt to contact you or when you phone them.

Users who do not want to submit their own video for Video Caller ID can opt for one of several templates. For phonebook contacts and confirmed business calls, video Caller ID will be accessible as well.

Free call recording:

Call recording, which was previously a premium-only function, is now available to all Truecaller customers. As long as they have Android 5.1 or higher, free users may now record calls using the Truecaller dialer. Users may also configure automatic call recording to begin recording as soon as the call starts. All recorded calls will be saved locally rather than being sent to Truecaller’s servers.:

Call Announce and Ghost Call:

Truecaller Premium subscribers now get access to additional features as well as an ad-free experience, including the new Ghost Call function. Users may use this to set up a bogus call to ring on their phone anytime they wish to get out of an unpleasant circumstance.

Ghost calls may be set to arrive at a specific time and disguised to appear as one of your contacts.

A Call Announce function will also say the names of callers, allowing users to know who is calling without having to pick up or even glance at the phone.
