The popular multi-format media player, VLC has already crossed the 100 million download mark. Users waited very long to see some significant updates to the player for Android. Now, it seems like the wait is over as the VLC for Android V3.4 includes several changes to provide a better experience to the users.

A recent blog post announced significant updates with the Android V3.4 version of VLC like an Improved audio player, Improved first experience, a Clearer video list, and many more.

The bookmark feature is a very helpful update for audio playback that helps to bookmark any playing. By which one can come back to the playing, exactly where left before. It’s very helpful to listen to audiobooks, podcasts, or even lecture recordings. Using this feature now you can add a bookmark on the playback progress bar and you can save a photo from that timecode instantly.

In the new VLC, the album artwork has been designated with a large section. And all of this is only to put the content at the center position.

The open-source platform has also enhanced user’s first experience by adding a tutorial. The guided setup will help you when you are using audio and video players for the first time.
