We have good news for people who uses YouTube Music. They will be able to use the app on their smartwatches, moving forward. Google will finally release a Wear OS-compatible app that will let users play music via the YouTube Music app on their smartwatch.
In a recent post, Google mentioned that YouTube Music is finally a standalone app. The post further stated that from this week onwards the firm will release a feature that will let users stream YouTube Music Over LTE and Wi-Fi. Moving forward, you are not required to carry your smartphone everywhere you go to access YouTube Music. Instead, you just need the internet on your watch itself.
The new smartwatch app is the first one after Google suddenly replaced Google Play Music in late 2020. It is worth mentioning that Samsung introduced a similar kind of ability earlier this year for the Galaxy Watch 4.
