Finally, Google One includes a mid-range of 5TB storage plan for the users to fill the gap of $40 and it is first noticed by 9to5Google.
Google one provides free storage to your different accounts like Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos. Earlier this year, the company restricted the unlimited free storage sharing for Google photos.
However, If the user requires more storage then they can go for a paid plan where they can buy additional storage.
In their paid plans, users get different options like 100GB, 200GB, 2TB monthly plan for $1.99, $2.99 and $9.99 respectively. Additionally, higher storage plans like 10TB, 20 TB, and 30 TB are also available at the monthly price of $49.99 per, $99.99, and $149.99, respectively.

One can easily see that after 2 TB of storage Google One offers directly the 10 TB plan. So, there is no plan between 1 TB and 10 TB. This could be problematic for those who are seeking a plan which is greater than the 2 TB but less than a 10 TB plan.
Now, for this reason, Google One introduces a 5 TB plan to fill the gap of a middle-plan between 2 TB and 10 TB. The 5 TB Google One storage plan charges $24.99 per month which is a very good option for those users.
