Google is finally gearing up to release its personalized profiles for Google TV over the next few days. The new update has been delayed for several months now. We hope the new update will finally arrive this time.

Originally, Google announced the Google TV profiles update in October. They were supported to make it simpler for multi-watcher households to navigate through content. It will basically allow people access to individualized recommendations, watchlists, and Google Assistant Responses

Google is expanding TV to make it a one-stop-shop for family members who prefer diverse types of content. Google TV debuted kids’ profiles last year, allowing parents to choose which applications are available and set watch time limitations. What’s more, Google also started releasing ambient mode screensaver with personalized cards earlier this month. The screensaver will display weather, sports scores, and podcast links.

Moreover, it is possible to stream the installed apps across all the profiles, except the children’s profiles. What’s more, the app will store the login info for homes with multiple streaming accounts.
