ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 and Zephyrus G15 received a warm welcome when they first arrived at the scene. It was not surprising, as the laptops offered solid gaming performance that too at an aggressive price point. What’s more, the company has now revealed updated 2022 versions of these laptops. In this piece, we are going to offer a brief overview of the devices.
ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 2022
The Zephyrus G14 2022 will arrive in two display variants. They both will offer a 16:10 aspect ratio and 91% screen-to-body ratio. Now, if you want to buy the expensive variant, you will get a 14-inch QHD 120Hz DCI-P3 IPS Nebula Display delivering 500nits of peak brightness. On top of that, the display also features a 3ms response time and Dolby Vision support. On the other hand, the second variant packs a 12-inch IPS FHD 144Hz panel. It delivers 100% sRGB display at 400nits and 3ms response time. Plus, the device also features a 720P HD IR Camera for Windows Hello.
The G14 also packs up to AMD’s new Ryzen 9 6900HS 8-core/16-thread processor. The processor is coupled with Radeon RX 6800S graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 VRAM. Apart from that, the GPU also houses a Mux switch. This feature allows seamless switching between integrated and dedicated graphics options.
Moreover, the unit is compatible with up to 32GB of RAM and is equipped with 16GB DDR5 4800MHz RAM. There is one free slot too. As for storage, the device comes equipped with a 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD.
Apart from the aforesaid things, the device also features Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 (Dual-band), two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports with DisplayPort 1.4 video output and PD charging at up to 100W, USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, an HDMI 2.0b port, a UHS-II microSD card reader, and a headphone combo jack.

ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 2022
The second variant- ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 features a 15.6-inch WQHD Panel with 240Hz refresh rate. The display panel also offers 300 nits of peak brightness, 3ms response time, and 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. It also has an aspect ratio of 16:9, supports Dolby Vision and adaptive sync.
The G15 might pack AMD Ryzen 9 6900Hs with 8-cores and a 16-thread processor. The processor is paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU that offers 8GB GDDR6 VRAM. It also has Mux Switch.
Further, the laptop is cooled with the help of liquid metal, 4 fan outlets, and an 84-blade fan. Other features, include the G15 features a 2x 2W dual-force woofer with Smart Amp Technology, 2x 2W tweeter, Dolby Atmos, and AI noise-canceling technology. There is also a 720P HD IR Camera for Windows Hello is also present on the device.
As for connectivity, the device has Wi-Fi 6E(802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.2 (Dual-band), two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports with DisplayPort 1.4 video output and PD charging at up to 100W, USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, an HDMI 2.0b port, a UHS-II microSD card reader, a headphone combo jack, a Kingston lock, and an RJ45 ethernet port.
