Everything You Should Know About Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and Watch 5

The Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Watch Pro are the latest smartwatches from Samsung. Along with the Galaxy Fold series, these gadgets were introduced on Wednesday. The business is gradually improving its ability to compete with the Apple Watch. The One UI Watch 4.5 version of WearOS 3.5 serves as the operating system for the Samsung Galaxy Watch. What’s more, the Exynos chip that powers the smartwatches is paired with an AMOLED that supports the Always On Display functionality. The Smartwatch has wireless charging as well as various sizes.

Galaxy Watch 5 and 5 Pro specifications

The new Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro have many improvements over the previous generation. There are two sizes of the Galaxy Watch 5: 40mm and 44mm. The Watch 5 Pro, on the other hand, has a larger 45mm display. All versions have Super AMOLED displays and Sapphire Crystal glass for increased durability. When you raise your wrist, the content will appear on the display thanks to Always-On compatibility.

With sensors including optical heart rate, bioelectrical impedance analysis, temperature, barometer, light, and gyro among others, Samsung has outfitted both Galaxy Watches. The new support both rapid charging and wireless charging (through WPC-based chargers).

The 44mm version of the Galaxy Watch 5 has a 410mAh battery, whereas the 40mm model has a 284mAh battery. In addition to that, the Watch 5 Pro features a 590mAh battery. It is a larger battery than the one included with the standard model.

Be aware that the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro has a few features designed specifically for the larger display. It has a compass, many different watch faces, and other things. Additionally, you have Route Workout for pre-set routes, voice guidance and vibration for turn-by-turn directions, and a new Track Back feature that enables you to securely return to your starting point.

The 40mm variant is available in Graphite, Sapphire, and pink colors while the 44mm variant is available in Graphite, Sapphire, and Silver options. Galaxy Watch 5 Pro however comes with only color options- Black titanium and Grey titanium.
