In a recent development, Flipkart has added a listing for the forthcoming Google Chromecast with TV (4K) ahead of its India launch. The listing has offered us various insights about the new device, including the pricing and the available offers on it. Disappointingly, the listing does not reveal any detail about the availability. However, it does say the Google Chromecast with TV is soon arriving on the platform. What’s more, the device will be available in a single color option- Snow.

Google Chromecast with TV (4K) India pricing and availability

The aforesaid listing reveals that the upcoming device will cost Rs. 6,399, at least if you will buy it through Flipkart. As discussed above, it will be available in a single Snow color option in India. If we compare this pricing with the Google Chromecast 3 pricing, it does look expensive. Users could buy the earlier variant at just Rs 3,499 from Flipkart in Black color.

It is worth mentioning that Flipkart will offer several discounts on the Google Chromecast with TV (4K). For instance, one offer is a 10 percent discount of up to Rs. 1,500 on Citi credit and debit cards. The previous offer is also valid for Bank of Baroda credit card users. In addition to that, the e-commerce store is also offering a 10 percent discount of up to Rs. 1750 on Citi credit card EMI transactions. 

It is clear from the name that the upcoming Google Chromecast with TV (4K) will stream content in 4K resolution. Besides that, the device is covered with a year of warranty in India and it weighs around 118gm. The device will ship with a power adapter with 5V output, a power cable, a Chromecast Voice Remote, and two triple-A batteries for the Voice Remote out of the box. 

The latest Chromecast supports 4k@60fps video playback Moreover, it supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision.

Lastly, Flipkart and even Google are to reveal a possible availability date for the device in India. However, it can be seen on the Flipkart page that the unit is coming soon to the Indian market. Let’s see when that happens, we will keep you updated about further developments.
