Intel NUC X15 Laptop Kit featuring 11th Gen Core CPU and NVIDIA RTX 30 GPU is a fresh entry to the reference gaming laptop segment. Without a doubt, this is a high-end laptop featuring either Core i5-11400H Tiger Lake-H CPU or Core i7-11800H. The latter is an 8-core and 16-threaded processor generally used by other gaming designs.
The system is equipped with a magnesium alloy chassis, alongside a 15.6-inch 144Hz or 240Hz Full HD panel. Otherwise, it can also feature a 165Hz QHD display as an alternative to existing options. The X15 is available in five models featuring GeForce RTX 3060 and RTX 3070 mobile GPU. However, Intel is yet to offer the TGP values for the X15 series. This makes it difficult to guess whether these are Max-P or Max-Q GPU designs.

As for connectivity, the NUC X15 is equipped with optomechanical keyboard switches, PCIe Gen4 storage support, as well as Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1 connectors. It is important to note that both PCIe Gen 4 and Thunderbolt 4 are still limited to Intel Tiger Lake-H-based laptops.
Furthermore, Intel is still to unveil the pricing of its NUC X15 laptop. Once, the company reveals the pricing; it will be easy to predict how expensive custom designs based on Intel Tiger Lake and NVIDIA Ampere will be.
