Lenovo To Release Yoga Slim 7 Pro 16 With AMD Ryzen 7 5800H

Lenovo released Yoga Slim 7i Pro equipped with Intel Tiger Lake CPUs some time ago, while the AMD version was still based on Zen 2 APUs. However, this is going to change now, since the company is planning to introduce AMD Ryzen 5000 Zen 3-equipped Yoga Slim 7 Pro. The upcoming range of laptops will also feature enhanced specifications.

The new Yoga Slim 7 Pro comes equipped with AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and Ryzen 5 5600H APUs. Lenovo also reveals that Ryzen 7 5800H variant will feature an 80W TDP, which looks interesting. Moreover, buyers will also get the option to configure the machine with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 or GeForce GTX 1650 discrete GPUs. Their machine also features 16GB of dual-channel RAM. The RAM can be paired with either 512GB or 1TB PCle storage.

Furthermore, Lenovo is offering the Yoga Slim 7 Pro in two 16-inch 16:10 display options, namely, 2.5K (2560 x 1600) 500-nit 120 Hz panel and a 2.5K 400-nit 60 Hz panel. Both the options will deliver 100% sRGB coverage. Plus, they are also DisplayHDR 400 certified.

As for connectivity, the laptop features 2×2 Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth 5.1. Port selection includes 2x USB Type-C, 2x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A. Plus, it also has an HDMI 1.4b-out, an SD card reader, and a combo audio jack. It will come pre-loaded with Windows 11 out of the box.

Release Date

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro’s release is not revealed as of now, the same is true for the pricing. However, we know that the laptop will arrive in Cloud Grey and Storm Grey colors.
