Apex Legends Mobile Launched, Includes New Features

The developers of Apex Legends have finally decided it is time to release the game for Android and iOS devices. The mobile version of the game was under beta testing for months. Now, users can finally play the game on their smartphones. What’s more, users that have pre-registered for Apex Legends Mobile will receive in-game regards. Rewards include Bloodhound banner frame, the Founder’s badge, Epic skin, and more.

What’s new in Apex Legends Mobile?

The most notable addition to the mobile version is a new character Fade. The character has all the important abilities like any other character in the game. For instance, Fade can perform a speed boost at the end of a slide thanks to a new Slipstream passive ability. On top of that, Fade can teleport to a previous location courtesy of a tactical ability Flashback. However, those are not the most interesting ones, the character’s ultimate ability is Phase Chamber. This ability allows Fade to throw an explosive core. It can leave everyone temporarily unable to deal with or receive damage in a radius. It is worth mentioning that you can lock Fade at Tier 25.

Furthermore, the developers have also added a new Overflow map in Arena mode alongside new weapons, including 30-30 marksman rifle, heatshield, and more. On top of that, the mobile version also has team-fill features that will allow auto-filling new players in-game team Deathmatch mode.

Lastly, Apex Legends will also include a season system for its battle pass. This is something similar to what we already have in Battlegrounds Mobile India and COD: Mobile.

Minimum System requirements

As for minimum configurations required to run the game, you need to have a phone with at least 2GB of RAM, 4GB of storage, and at least Snapdragon 435/ Hisilicon Kirin 650/ Mediatek Helio P20/ Exynos 7420 chipset. The minimum system requirements for iOS devices is iOS 11 and above with an Apple A9 chipset and above.

Now, lets talk about how you can play Apex Legends Mobile on your Android device. You just need to download the game from Google Play Store. It is worth noting that the game is offered by EA, so download the version which is published by EA. It might be the case that there are various fakes available on the Play Store. For iOS devices, you need to download the Apex Legends Mobile from the App Store.
