Auto Overclocking
We have known for some time that AMD is working on Auto Overclocking and the company has finally offered us insights about the Auto Overclocking facilities provide by the new driver. This feature is a one-click solution for any game with a PC equipped with Ryzen 5000 series processor and AMD Radeon 6000 series graphics card. It is somewhat similar to AMD’s Advantage program for laptops.
Users can access the feature by opening the Radeon Software UI, click on the Performance tab, and then selecting Tuning. After that, users will gain access to the Tuning Control section, provided their system is equipped with AMD CPUs and GPUs. Once they see that screen, they can toggle Auto Overclock. Now, they need to restart their systems to apply the new settings.
Microsoft Windows 11 support
The latest driver update is also bringing support for Windows 11. It will offer various things, including optimizations, Radeon Boost, Radeon Anti-Lag, and Radeon Image Sharpening, and better visuals on Windows 11 PCs.
AMD Smart Access Memory
The update is also carrying Smart Access Memory support aka Resizable BAR PCIe for older first-gen RDNA GPUs.
