AMD Radeon RX 7000 series is all set to release by the end of this year. Dr. Lisa Su, CEO of AMD, during the 2021 earnings call revealed that 2022 will release many important and new products, including the likes of AMD Zen4 CPU architecture and RDNA3 GPUs.
It is important to note that AMD hasn’t updated the desktop Ryzen series since Vermeer; though the company has plan to upgrade to the new AM5 socket supporting DDR5 memory. Plus, the PCIe Gen5 standard might also push AMD for a GPU upgradation.
In an official statement, Dr. Lisa Su said:
“Turning to 2022. Demand for our product is very strong, and we look forward to another year of significant growth and share gains as we ramp our current products and launch our next wave of Zen 4 CPUs and RDNA 3 GPUs. We have also made significant investments to secure the capacity needed to support our growth in 2022 and beyond.”

RDNA3 specifications
According to official slides, AMD RDNA3 is based on advanced nodes. On the other, if we talk unofficially the RDNA3 might be based on TSMC N5 and N6 process technology. As per the leaks, the Radeon 7000 series might become AMD’s first MCM-based GPU architecture for users. Last year, the company introduced the CDNA2 MI200 accelerators.
Moreover, the RDNA3 architecture could come equipped with Navi 3x GPU designs. And thanks to two GPU dies, it can offer 60 RDNA Workgroups or a 15360 Steam processor. If we are to believe the rumors, then the company is working on two GPUs with MCM design- Navi 31 and Navi 32.
Nevertheless, whatever specifications we have talked about earlier are just based on rumors. We have no official information regarding the matter.
