NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti specifications
The forthcoming card will come equipped with a 3-slot design from the original RTX 3090 FE. Hence, it won’t appear much different on the outside, besides a huge 16-pin PCle power connector. The power connector will allow GeForce RTX 3090 Ti FE to consume up to 450W of power.
Moreover, NVIDIA might use 24GB of ultra-fast GDDRX memory with a speed up to 21Gbps. It is about 1.5Gbps more than the GDDR6X memory used on the RTX 3090. It should deliver more than 1TB/sec of memory bandwidth. What’s more, this is the first NVIDIA GPU to do so. Plus, it will offer about 7.7% more memory bandwidth than the already fast RTX 3090.
Moreover, professionals advise up to 1000W PSU with the new custom Ampere GPU. What’s more, the custom cards should have higher boost GPU clocks. Specifically, the RTX 3090 Ti FE might offer a boost GPU clock of 1860MHz. In addition to that, the upcoming card will provide around 40 TFLOPs of single-precision compute power.
Furthermore, NVIDIA will charge a hell lot of money for the forthcoming GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Founders Edition. Plus, the custom models will cost just as much, if not more. Obviously, we cannot assume a specific price for the unit. Anyways, NVIDIA will reveal all the things about the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti during CES 2022.
