Qualcomm did introduce several new processors this year, but the company is working on more processors, including SD SM6375 and SM6225 if we are to believe a new report. The new reports also suggest that these are mid-range processors.
Specifically, the new processors will arrive under the Snapdragon 600 series, as per the report from Winfuture.de. It might be the case that these chipsets will have their respective gaming variants. Hence, we might also get to see processors with G-suffix in their name. Qualcomm uses the same naming convention for the Snapdragon 700 series.

Qualcomm SD SM6375
The Qualcomm SM6375 will arrive in four different variants, all of which will feature CPUs and GPUs with different clock rates; however, the base is the same for all of them. Moreover, all of the variants will have octa-core CPUs including four Gold cores and four Silver cores. Here are the purported configurations:4x Gold cores at 2.1GHz + 4x Silver cores 1.8GHz
- Gold cores at 2.2GHz and Silver cores 2.0GHz
- Gold cores at 2.3GHz and Silver cores 2.1GHz
- Gold cores at 2.5GHz and Silver cores 2.2GHz
Moreover, the source also says that one of the chips will have a refresh rate of 144Hz. This further indicates that there will be at least one CPU with a G suffix.
Qualcomm SM6225
Besides the aforesaid chipset variants, the source also spotted a second variant- the Snapdragon SM6225. It might arrive under the name Snapdragon 690 with part number SM6350.
What’s more, there are similarities between this chip and the Snapdragon 765. However, we don’t know much about the CPU and GPU of the chipset. We have had reports indicating that the specs of the testing platforms are similar to that of mid-range devices.
