Apple has been inundated with reports about issues impacting the new iPhone 13 series, as well as virtually every previous iPhone model running iOS 15. However, solutions began to address many of these concerns as early as October 1, when the initial fix, iOS 15.0.1, was released. We now have a second iOS update, which has already begun to address the issue with the Messages app. It caused your saved photos to be erased if you removed the thread or message linked with it. Only 10 days after the second upgrade to the latest iOS version, Apple released iOS 15.0.2. This software update is already available for download, and you can install the update by going to the Settings app, then Settings, General, and then Software Update.
The latest iOS update will address an issue that caused stored photos from Messages to vanish when users deleted the message or thread from which the image originated. In addition, iOS 15.0.2 will fix an issue that prevented the MagSafe iPhone Leather Wallet from connecting to the Find My app, as well as another problem that affected CarPlay.
The new update fixes the following things
“This update includes bug fixes for your iPhone:
- Photos saved to your library from Messages could be deleted after removing the associated thread or message
- iPhone Leather Wallet with MagSafe may not connect to Find My
- AirTag might not appear in the Find My Items tab
- CarPlay may fail to open audio apps or disconnect during playback
- Device restore or update may fail when using Finder or iTunes for iPhone 13 models

A software update for watchOS 8 has also been released, which addresses issues with software update progress and accessibility settings. To get this update, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and navigate to General, Software Update. Remember that your Watch must be at least 50% charged, placed on a charter, and kept close to your iPhone.
