We recently came to know that the upcoming Intel Core i9-12900K will arrive with a starting price of 605USD. Now, US retailers have listed other SKUs as well. Specifically, the pricing for both boxed and tray items is now available to the public.
New details
The Core i5-12600KF boxed processor has the starting price of $261.77 and is a 6+4 core, 16 thread processor. It also has 20MP of L3 cache and a maximum boost frequency of 4.90 GHz for the P cores. However, the CPU doesn’t include an integrated graphics processor. On the contrary, the i5-12600K with the same specifications includes an integrated graphics processor (iGPU). It is priced at $295.49.
Moreover, the core i7-12700K and i7-12700KF features 8+4 cores, 20 threads, 25MB of cache, and a maximum boost clock of 5.00 GHz. The i9-12900KF is available for $578.13, while the K version costs $604.99. The pricing of the chips is almost the same, with a slight difference of $5.
Important Note
It is worth noting that the boxed SKUs don’t feature a cooler. The pricing for them only reflects the pricing of the paperboard box, as per the bill of materials for the product. Intel might release the processors in late October this year, whereas they will be available for purchase in mid-November.
