Leaked MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Benchmark Scores
Some of the high-end flagship smartphones debuting later this year and in the early part of 2023 will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200 SoC. The GPU scores of the SoC have leaked before of launch. According to the research, the Dimensity 9200 SoC was able to achieve 328 frames per second in the GFX 1080p Manhattan 3.0 Off-screen. And achieved 228 frames per second in Manhattan 3.1 off-screen test.
SoCs | Manhattan 3.0 off-screen test | Manhattan 3.1 off-screen test |
MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC | 328 | 228 |
MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ | 220 | 160 |
Apple A16 Bionic | 280 | 200 |
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 | 281 | 188 |
In contrast, Apple’s A16 Bionic SoC was able to achieve results of 280 and 200 frames per second, respectively. The Dimensity 9200 SoC outperformed the Dimensity 9000+ SoC, the company’s current flagship SoC, which achieved 220 fps and 160 fps, respectively. Finally, in the two GFX Benchmark tests, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC achieved scores of 281 fps and 188 fps.
Moreover, the benchmark results made public clearly demonstrate that the Dimensity 9200 SoC has outperformed the Dimensity 9000+ and the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC by a wide margin. The MediaTek SoC beat Apple’s A16 Bionic, which was touted as the fastest smartphone SoC ever, which is the key finding.
