According to a rumor from TechnikNews, Motorola may soon reveal a new Moto G series phone. We can expect that the handset will be a successor to the Moto G100, which the company released earlier this year as the company’s first Moto G series phone to use a Snapdragon 800-series processor.
What You Should Know about Moto G:
The Moto G200, codenamed “Yukon,” will be Motorola’s first phone to employ Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 888 processor, according to the rumor. Similar to the Motorola Edge 20 Pro, the phone may include a 144Hz display with FHD+ resolution.
The Moto G200 will give a considerable boost over its predecessor in the photography department, in addition to having a more powerful SoC and a faster refresh rate screen. It will reportedly come with a triple-lens camera system that includes a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor, a 13MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.
It’ll also include 8GB of RAM and a 16MP selfie camera, according to rumors. On the software front, the phone may come with Android 11 out of the box, which is a letdown.
While there’s no information on when the company will release the Moto G200. The source claims Motorola will debut the phone as the Edge S30 in China next month to compete with the top Android phones in the bargain flagship sector. If the report is correct, Motorola should begin teasing the device’s release very soon.
