Samsung Galaxy S22 series has been the topic of the town for a while now. We have already seen several rumors suggesting the specs over time. The main focus of these rumors has been the S22 Ultra camera setup. However, now we have information on other models as well including vanilla and plus models, thanks to Ice Universe. Both the aforesaid devices use the same hardware.
The first thing we know is that the devices could feature a 50MP primary camera with 1/1.57” sensor with 1.0 µm pixels and an f/1.8 aperture. It appears like the Samsung GN5 and Sony IMX766 sensors. For comparison sake, the Galaxy S21 and S21+ features a 1/1.76” sensor with 1.8µm pixels. On top of that, the S22 series will likely use pixel binning. Therefore, the camera’s effective pixel size is 2.0 µm at 12.5MP resolution.

Besides the cameras mentioned above, the devices will also get a 12MP ultra-wide camera with 1/2.55” in size with 1.4µm pixels and an f/2.2 aperture. It is the same that was used on the S21 series. On the front, the device will feature the same selfie camera as that of the S21/S21+.
