Just a few days from now, on February 1, Samsung will release the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. However, the exact features and cost of the flagships have leaked online, leaving no room for speculation. According to the leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup may not feature a significant improvement over the Galaxy S22 series.
Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup purported specs
The 6.1-inch Super AMOLED display from the previous edition is reportedly still there in the Samsung Galaxy S23. A 6.6-inch display could be available with the Galaxy S23+. According to reports, both devices will sport an FHD+ screen with a VRR of 48Hz to 120Hz.
Both phones will probably feature HDR10+. Plus, the panels may be protected further by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. In addition to that, the Ultra variant will feature a QHD+ display panel.

Both the regular and Plus models might include a 12-megapixel selfie camera with dual-pixel autofocus and capability for up to 4K 60fps footage. According to the source, the rear would have a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS capability. A 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with a 3x optical zoom might be used in conjunction with it.
The newest version of Android, version 13, will likely ship with the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. All of the variants will most likely be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which is anticipated to be paired with a quicker UFS 4.0 storage option.
Moreover, the 3,900mAh battery in the Galaxy S23 is said to be slightly larger than the 3,700mAh battery in the Galaxy S22. The same 25W wired charging would be supported for the regular model. A 4,700mAh battery with up to 45W cable charging support could be included in the Galaxy S23+. The leak further suggests that the devices will include a built-in ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, IP68 water resistance, dual speakers, Dolby Atmos support, and more.
Expected pricing
Most of Samsung’s flagship phones have seen price increases of Rs 3,000 in recent years. However, it appears that phones in 2023 may cost more than ever. According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy S23 has a starting price of AUS $1,350. It’s a little unexpected that this will apparently be for the base 128GB storage model because persistent rumors stated that Samsung was considering providing 256GB as the base model. Additionally, a 256GB model will be available, possibly for AUS $1,450. (around Rs 82,000).

Furthermore, Galaxy S23+ is expected to launch at AUS $1,650 and Ultra is to be priced at AUS $1,950. As of now, we don’t know the Indian prices.
