The Samsung Galaxy M52 will succeed the Galaxy M51, which was one of the most popular mid-range phones in 2020. While Samsung has yet to announce the phone’s launch date in India or worldwide, a fresh leak has given us our first glimpse and some further information about the company’s next mid-range phone.
In cooperation with tipster Ishan Agarwal, Mysmartprice has received a handful of renderings of the Galaxy M52 smartphone. Some of the device’s major features are also revealed in the photos. For starters, the Galaxy M52 is said to include vertical stripes on the rear, similar to the Galaxy F62.
120Hz AMOLED screen:
The Galaxy M52 is rumored to include a 120Hz AMOLED screen, which is an improvement on the Galaxy M51’s 60Hz AMOLED panel. According to reports, the phone weighs 175 grams in weight.
In addition, the phone is reported to include a single punch-hole selfie camera in the center. We can see a three-camera setup on the rear, as well as an LED flash, which is both present on the Galaxy M51. The fingerprint scanner is also visible on the side, integrated into the power button. The renderings are available in two color schemes: blue and black.
Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy M52 (leaked):
The Galaxy M52 is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G 5G compatible processor, among other features. If confirmed, this will be Samsung’s second smartphone with the same processor, following the Galaxy A52s. The smartphone is believed to include a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display.
The phone is rumored to have 6GB of RAM and come pre-installed with Android 11. The Galaxy M52 is expected to have a 64MP primary camera (ISOCELL GW3), a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro shooter in terms of optics. A 32MP selfie camera should also be included.
Finally, there is no information on the Samsung Galaxy M52’s battery capacity or charging speeds. The Galaxy M51, with its huge 7,000mAh battery, is still the gadget to beat when it comes to battery life after a year. We’d be shocked if Samsung decided to go with anything less.
