Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G flagship smartphone to the Chinese market in December. In a recent Twitter post, Xiaomi India’s CEO teased the smartphone, indicating that it will be released “soon.”
The device now has a landing page on Amazon India, indicating that an Indian launch may not be long away. Xiaomi has also created a teaser video for the smartphone named “The showstopper” on the Amazon landing page.
The hints in the background of Xiaomi India’s head tweet suggest that the launch will most likely take place on April 12 at 12 p.m. in India. However, take it with a pinch of salt as this is unverified.

Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G Specifications
The smartphone might arrive with the same specifications as that of the Chinese version. In other words, it will have a 6.73-inch AMOLED display with a 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate. Plus, the screen will also offer 1500nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ certification.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which will be combined with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The gadget comes pre-installed with MIUI 13 based on Android 12 and a triple camera configuration on the back.
This camera features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX707 primary sensor, as well as a 50-megapixel Samsung Isocell JN1 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50-megapixel Samsung Isocell JN1 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. The front, on the other hand, has a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The device debuted in China at a starting price of 4,699 yuan ($738) for the 8GB+128GB option, so we may expect it to start at around 50,000INR.
