Just a few days ago, Samsung rolled out the stable Android 12 update to the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in select countries. However, it appears as if the update is not that stable after all; it is affecting Galaxy Z Fold 3. After installing the One UI 4.0 update; several Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 customers have reported a variety of difficulties.
Users in South Korea are having a lot of problems with their new foldable phones that run Android 12. Some consumers have revealed their handsets are left bricked after installing the update on Samsung’s official forums. Others claimed that after installing the latest firmware, their handset went into recovery mode. Most of the users faced issues like screen flickering, dark mode, poor performance, and the Dual Messenger function not working.

One customer even stated that after installing the One UI 4.0 update, the phone’s camera app stopped working.
Moreover, Samsung has reportedly chosen to stop the Android 12 rollout for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 for the time being. It appears after the resolution of the flaws; the South Korean company may resume the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 upgrade in South Korea and expand its distribution to other countries.
