For several of its flagship phones, ASUS has an Android 12 OS built in the pipeline. The ASUS ZenFone 8 Beta Program began enrolling participants earlier this month. What’s more, the company has finalized the released dates for the Zenfone 8, Zenfone 7, and ASUS ROG phones.
Moreover, the ZenFone 8 will receive the latest version starting in December 2021. The ROG Phone 5 and 5s series will get the update in Q1 2022. Plus, the ASUS ROG Phone 3 and the Zenfone 7 series will both receive the same update in the first part of next year.
ASUS will deliver important additions and improvements alongside Google’s Android 12 release. That is true with most Android 12 upgrades. On top of that, Asus will also include performance and battery management tweaks and functionality.

The upgrade will also include ZenUI-specific enhancements. This will result in improved navigation, visibility, control, customization, and more simplified control panels.
The beta testing program for the ZenFone 8 has already begun. Hopefully, the application will assist in identifying additional faults and errors. So, that they may be corrected as soon as possible. By December, the final software version should be available.
For the ZenFone models stated, the features and enhancements will be essentially the same. Other OEMs, including Vivo with the FunTouch OS, Samsung One UI 4, ColorOS 12, and Realme UI 3.0 for OPPO, will also roll out Android 12 soon.
