The much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S22 series was launched by the South Korean tech titan last week. The business revealed the gadget pricing in the United States and the United Kingdom at the launch event. However, Indian buyers are still in the dark regarding the pricing of the Galaxy S22 series as they wait for the expected March 11th sale date.

However, the MySmartPrice report has shed some light on the pricing of the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Ultra variants in India. Retail sources told the publication that the Samsung Galaxy S22’s base memory variant would cost Rs 72,999. According to the sources, Samsung’s top-of-the-line S22 Ultra will start at Rs 1,09,900 ($1459).

The Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus will have an 8GB + 128GB base memory combination, according to the above-mentioned base variations. The Galaxy S22 Ultra has an 8GB + 256GB memory option as its base variant.

In India, the Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus will come in three colors: black, white, and green. The S22 Ultra will be available in the country just in Phantom Black and White, with the Green and Pink Gold color choices expected later this year.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Specifications

The Galaxy S22 Ultra features a 6.8-inch AMOLED 2X panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a QHD+ resolution of 3088×1440 pixels. The display also comes with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage, and 1,750 nits of peak brightness. There is also an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the screen.

The camera configuration includes a 108MP Primary camera teaming up with a 12MP ultrawide camera, 10MP 3x, and 10MP 10x periscope lenses. At the front, there is a 40MP selfie camera.

In India, the gadget is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and will most likely be available in storage variants of 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports up to 45W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging and runs the latest One UI 4.1 based on Android 12 OS.
