Google Pixel 7 Might Release in the Mid-October

Google-Pixel-7-Might-Release-in-the-Mid-October

Jon Prosser strikes again. The guy can be considered a legend when it comes to leaking stuff about upcoming tech. His new target is one of the most awaited launches of the year. Apple’s iPhone 14 and Google’s new Pixel 7 series both will hopefully be launched in September and October this year and Jon has provided us with some more insights about the launch of the Google Pixel 7.

There were some talks about the Pixel earlier at the Google developer’s I/O conference. In these talks, the multi-sectoral giant gave us the nod that both the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro existed. But according to the above-mentioned sources, they will be up for sale on October 13 and the pre-booking starts on October 6.

If we are to go by Google’s track record of not releasing their new devices in India then it will be safe to assume that the Pixel 7 and its Pro version will not be launched in India. To top it all off there has been no confirmation from Google about the device’s release in India. We can only hope that Google changes to being pro-India and releasing its new flagship models in India too.

Google Pixel 7: What to expect

One can expect that the devices will have Android 13 OS out of the box and Google’s latest chipset – Tensor.

Not a lot is available about the device but if we are to believe the rumors then Google’s Pixel 7 will have a brighter display supported by 1000nits of brightness than its previous models which were supported by only 800nits of brightness. Also, the screen will be bigger. Pixel 7 Pro’s refresh rate will be 120Hz with HDR 10+ but there is no word about the Pixel 7. There were also reports that Google might go for an LTPO display but it is highly unlikely.

Coming to the camera setup- the selfie camera will be Samsung’s 3J1 sensor-enabled 11 Megapixels camera. Best for portrait shots this camera has dual-pixel autofocus capabilities. No big design changes are expected to be featured in the new flagship phones.

Finally, the phone will house an in-display biometric sensor, Sony’s IMX381 ultra-wide-angle camera, and Samsung’s GN1 sensor.
