Google use to keep most of the details about its products to itself, but the company has not followed the policy for its upcoming Pixel 6 series. The company this time has shared some key details as well pictures of its upcoming smartphones in the last few weeks. On top of that, it has also revealed the AI-smarts video teaser. All the newly revealed information has helped to create a buzz around the device. It appears as if the new PR strategy has helped Google to build interest among the users.
Google Pixel 6 series specifications (Rumoured)
The Pixel 6 might come equipped with a 6.4-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, and an 8MP selfie camera. Moreover, the phone houses a dual-lens rear camera with a 50MP and 12MP camera. The device is fuelled by a 4,614 mAh battery and up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.
On the other hand, the Pixel 6 Pro will come equipped with a 6.71-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 12MP selfie camera. Moreover, the device packs 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. On the camera front, it will feature a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP+ 48MP lenses, with 4x zoom.
Furthermore, the Google Pixel 6 series will come pre-loaded with Android 12, alongside the latest Material You adaptive design language.
Under the hood, the new phones on the Google Pixel 6 series will pack the in-house Google Tensor chipset. It might be the biggest addition to the upcoming Pixel devices. The chipset will allow the smartphone to perform better in computational photography, speech recognition, among other things.

Google Pixel 6 series pricing
The leaks have revealed the pricing of the upcoming Pixel 6 series too. Taiwanese retail indicated that the Pixel 6 will arrive with a price tag of £475. Whereas, the Pixel 6 Pro will cost around £680. However, it is worth noting that the buyers in the UK will have to pay more in form of tax as VAT in Taiwan is just 5 percent.
Release Date
Google has recently revealed the launch date for its Pixel smartphones. The Pixel Fall Launch event is all set to take place on October 19. The company is an official statement that said, “On October 19, we’re officially introducing you to Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro—the completely reimagined Google phones”. The company further added that “Powered by Tensor, Google’s first custom mobile chip, they’re fast, smart and secure. And they adapt to you. #Pixel6Launch”. Obviously, it is a virtual event.
