In India, the MIUI 12.5 update for the POCO X3 is currently available.

One of the greatest smartphones introduced in India in 2020 was the POCO X3. MIUI 12 was released alongside the phone, which is based on Android 10. However, it was just a few weeks ago that it received the Android 11 upgrade in the nation. It is now receiving the MIUI 12.5 update as well.

In India, POCO introduced the POCO X3 as a competitor to the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. Later, the POCO X3 Pro, a more powerful version of this phone, was released.

The latter phone arrived with MIUI 12, an Android 11-based operating system. As a result, it received the MIUI 12.5 update sooner. The former, on the other hand, is only now receiving the latest MIUI upgrade.

The MIUI 12.5 update for the POCO X3 comes in India with the build number V12.5.2.0.RJGINXM. The new software upgrade not only adds new functionality but also raises the security patch level to July 2021.

This OTA system upgrade is being sent out in batches, just like any other OTA system update. As a result, some users may receive it sooner, while others may have to wait longer.

So yet, the POCO X3 has only received one Android update. There hasn’t been a significant MIUI update for it yet. As a result, the phone is expected to receive more updates in the future than MIUI 13 and Android 12.
