Infinix Zero 5G 2023 Released With Dimensity 1080 and 50MP Camera

Infinix has updated the Zero series with the release of the Zero 5G 2023 smartphone. It is clear from the name that the Infinix Zero 5G smartphone is an updated version of the earlier released Infinix Zero 5G. The new smartphone offers various enhancements over its previous version, including the SoC. Specifically, the latest version features a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor over Dimensity 900 in the predecessor.  

What’s more, the upcoming Infinix Zero 5G 2023 will also offer a 50MP camera main rear camera and a 16MP front camera. Let’s get into details about the device.  

Infinix Zero 5G 2023: Specifications and Features

The upcoming Infinix Zero 5G will come equipped with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ LCD display with 2460 x 1080 resolution. It will also include a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a 500 nits peak brightness. The display also includes a punch-hole note for the front camera.  

Moreover, the device will pack an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor alongside an integrated Mali G68 GPU. The new chipset offers 10% CPU and 8% GPU improvements over the Dimensity 900, which is quite noteworthy. It is worth mentioning that this SoC also powers the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Realme 10 Pro series devices. Besides that, the upcoming smartphone will also pack 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. On the software front, it will come pre-loaded with XOS 12 based on Android 12.

For imaging, the Zero 5G 2023 will feature a triple rear camera setup housing a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. The camera department will also support Super Night Mode, Nigh Filter, Sky Remap, and Film mode. What’s more, the device can record 960fps slow-motion videos. On the front, it will include a 16MP front shooter alongside dual LED flashes.   

Furthermore, the device will also pack a 5,000mAH battery unit with 33W fast charging support. As for connectivity, the device offers Dual-SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, GPS, Glonass, and BeiDou. 

Pricing

The Infinix Zero 5G will arrive with a price tag of $329 for the 8GB+256GB Variant. However, it is worth mentioning that the prices will vary according to the region.  

Lastly, the device will arrive in three color options- Pearly White, Coral Orange, and Black.
