iPhone lovers are either going to love or hate what Apple has planned for them. This is going to be exciting if the rumors about the new iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are to be believed. There is talk about these new variants having more RAM than their counterparts and that’s not all of it.

Faster RAM on iPhone 14 Pro models

The latest iPhone currently available in the market runs on LPDDR4X RAM. However, reports from Digitimes have suggested that the new Apple iPhone variants will be working on a 6 GB LPDDR5 RAM. This will not only be an update from the 4 GB RAM current featured in iPhones. However, it is also an update from a technological standpoint.

This new LPDDR5 RAM will be much less energy-consuming and lightening quick as well, it will be like the hangover sequels but better.

This isn’t the first time that this rumor has surfaced, either. In March, oft-cited Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo tweeted that while all four iPhone 14 models will feature 6GB of RAM; only the Pro & Pro Max models will use LPDDR5 RAM. As new reports continue to corroborate the rumor. We’re inclined to believe that Apple will give the iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max faster RAM.

What gives substance to this rumor is that this is not an isolated report about the new iPhones having faster RAM. Previously, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo talked about the LPDDR5 RAM being used in the Pro model. And also about the upgraded capacity of the RAM, using his tweeter handle.

Some of the upgrades will remain exclusive to pro models

Then we have the design. Apple will reportedly replace the notch with pill-shaped and hole-punch cutouts on the display for the selfie camera and Face ID sensors. Once again, you will only see this new look on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Finally, we come to the pricing of these new Pro and Pro max models. Some reports suggest this might be the most expensive device in the history of iPhones. However, only after official confirmation, we can crown it.
