Over the past few years, Apple has continuously updated the iPhone SE. The SE series has always been based on older models’ designs. This time around it appears like Apple is attempting to adopt the iPhone XR design language. Let’s take a close look at the modifications the iPhone SE 4 might introduce. It has been rumoured that it will have an appearance similar to that of the iPhone XR.

Expected features and characteristics for the Apple iPhone SE 4

The fourth-generation iPhone SE from tech giant Apple will feature a 6.1-inch LCD screen, according to Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) analyst Ross Young. The screen will include a “notch” cutout at the top of the display.

Moreover, it is unknown if the iPhone SE notch will include a TrueDepth camera array to support Face ID like other iPhone models. According to certain rumours, the iPhone SE won’t include Face ID. It will instead continue with Touch ID like earlier models to reduce expenses.

According to the source, the device’s bottom bezel will no longer have enough for a capacitive Touch ID Home button.

Numerous rumours claim that Apple will equip the iPhone SE with a Touch ID Side button, similar to the ones found on the iPad Air and iPad mini. These allegations include information from MyDrivers and Apple expert Ming-Chi Kuo.

Although the size of the notch on the fourth-generation iPhone SE is unknown, it appears likely that it will be smaller than the one on the iPhone XR if Touch ID is used instead of Face ID and the smartphone does not include a dot projector. The iPhone SE line-up is Apple’s entry-level iPhone line-up for the uninitiated.
