The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 marks MediaTek’s first attempt into a real flagship chipset in years. It’s a TSMC-made 4nm chipset with a lot of power; it includes ARM’s most powerful Cortex-X2 core, an 18-bit image signal processor, Bluetooth 5.3 compatibility, and more. The Dimensity 9000 will debut in the OPPO Find X5 series; even though we hadn’t heard which handsets would run it yet.
According to the official MediaTek Weibo account, the Dimensity 9000 will make its debut in an OPPO Find X5 series device. While this could be a mistranslation, it appears that there is a Pro edition that comes with more features.

Previous leaks conflict with MediaTek’s statement. Therefore, we initially believed that Dimensity 9000 edition of the device would be limited or delayed. According to the sources, the phone will include a 5,000mAh battery, 80W wired fast charging capabilities, and a big QHD+ AMOLED LTPO display with an in-screen fingerprint sensor and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The only model that might arrive in Europe is 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The devices will house two 50MP Sony IMX766 sensors and a 13MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. The phone will also come with OPPO’s new MariSilicon X chip, which combines a powerful NPU, ISP, and multi-tier memory architecture onto a single chip.
The company has revealed that new items would be showcased at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. At the event, we’re expecting to show the new Find X5 series devices, as well as a Dimensity 9000-powered device.
