Samsung is gearing up to introduce the next generation of its software skin for smartphones. Specifically, the company is all set to launch the One UI 4.0. The next Android skin by Samsung is based on Android 12. So, One UI 4.0 will bring Android 12 to Samsung devices. However, it will be long before Samsung users will actually get their hands on the next-gen Android version.
According to the grapevine, the South Korean giant has postponed the rollout of the One UI 4.0 beta once again. Earlier reports suggested that the skin will release in September, and it will first arrive in Galaxy S21 series, but that is no longer the case. Since the company has supposedly postponed the launch as it needs more time to fix bugs. As of now, it appears that the beta will first start rolling out in October.

Obviously, a delay in the launch of beta also affects the release of the stable variant. Though we are not sure about the release date of the stable Android 12-based One UI update; but chances are it might arrive in December, according to leaks. Samsung rolled out the One UI 3.0 beta in mid-September last year with S20 devices getting the update first by early December. If Samsung follows the same timeline for the release of One UI 4.0 too; Galaxy S21 owners may have to wait till late December or early January for a stable One UI 4.0 update.
