One UI 5 Beta Now Available On Samsung’s Mid-range A Series

Last month Samsung launched its One UI 5 beta program for the public through its Galaxy S22 series. The company has released a few betas builds over the last few weeks for the S22 series. It allowed the users to have a taste of the Android 13 before it is rolled out completely. S22 will be the first to receive the update. However, the company plans on providing the update to the mid-range A52 too. The One UI 5 stable release is set to launch for both series.

A community post on the Samsung community forums suggested that the A52 users can enroll in the beta testing program. They have to visit the Samsung Members App and clicking on the One UI 5 beta banner. The first update will be through an OTA service after the complete registration. This program is only available in India right now but soon enough other regions will also be able to enjoy the benefits.

The update has security patch for October 2022. and it weighs under 2 Gigs as revealed by a screenshot of the One UI 5 beta changelog. The new color options for dynamic themes that were introduced in the Galaxy S22 series are available in this patch. Other changes like the new gestures for split screen video, stackable widget support, and improvement in the camera app and My Files app are all available in this new patch.
