OnePlus 10 Pro is among the finest smartphones from the company to date. The company introduced the device last month, and it started selling on January 13. However, the launch was limited to the Chinese market. Now, other global markets are waiting for the device to arrive. The company has already announced that it will release the device globally later this year. However, the company is yet to announce a specific release date. What’s more, the most interesting thing that we knew of about the device was, it was supposed to come pre-loaded with a unified OS, but OnePlus seems to have diverted from its original plan. Reports suggest the device could feature OxygenOS 12. Now, it appears as if the company has decided to postpone the release of its new OS.

Here is what a new report reveals about the unified OS for OnePlus 10 Pro
“OnePlus and OPPO in September last year announced they will launch a new unified OS that would replace the existing OxygenOS custom skin on OnePlus phones.”
A new report from 91mobiles suggests that the OnePlus 10 Pro will arrive with Oxygen OS 12. However, it is worth noting that this won’t be your normal Oxygen OS version; it will have a custom skin on top. The Chinese variant came pre-loaded with ColorOS skin on top. Hence, we will have to wait to see what happens.
“Now, 91mobiles has exclusively learned from noted leakster Yogesh Brar that the unified OS has been delayed and that the OnePlus 10 Pro global version will run on Oxygen OS 12 custom skin out of the box.”
Besides the things mentioned above, we might not get to see any other change in the device. It should feature the same 6.7-inch second-generation LTPO OLED display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rates, among other things.
