OnePlus 9T won’t be released- Officially confirmed by the company

Oneplus has given an official statement on the rumors of releasing its OnePlus 9T series. At the beginning of the year, we heard that the company could launch an upgraded model with some improved specifications and camera hardware.

However, we also got the opposite speculation of not release. Finally, the company confirmed that the upgraded T-series will not be there this year.

T-series is a progressive update for Oneplus’ existing leading brand products. The company is willing to put attention to its high-end lead devices, mid-range devices, and low-end models as well with the Nord N series.

There is an uncertainty whether the company gonna make a new lineup of the OnePlus 9, but they will continue with other releases. Though, it is not confirmed what could be the other releases. The possible new release might be the OnePlus 9RT.

Speculated specifications of OnePlus 9 RT:

We have seen a leak in August that revealed, there could be a T version of the OnePlus 9R as OnePlus 9RT/OnePlus 9 RT. And there is no doubt that the OnePlus 9 RT will be an updated version of its predecessor.

As per previous reports, The smartphone will come with a powerful Snapdragon 870 chipset. Likely, an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate is also expected to have in this model. The device could be equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery with 65W fast wired charging support.

The report also claimed, the model will have a 50MP Sony IMX 766 primary camera sensor. However, we don’t have any proof of these specifications of the upcoming OnePlus 9 RT.

According to some leaks, the OnePlus 9 RT could make a launch on October 15. Like the 9R model, the new 9 RT version also would be limited to India and China.

The strategy is appearing as an interesting one that might work for the company. The N series is already popular in the United States. And, Oneplus is moving towards more investment on the budget, mid-range, and high-end flagship Smartphones in upcoming years.
