OnePlus will release the OnePlus Nord 2T smartphone later in May, according to reports. Some rumors suggest that the company will host an event to reveal the phone before the end of this month. However, if you want to know the details about the device so that you can decide if you want to purchase the device or not; it is your lucky day. A new unboxing video on YouTube has revealed every important detail about the device, there is to know. Sahil Karoul, a YouTuber, managed to get hold of the OnePlus Nord 2T and uploaded an unboxing video on his YouTube channel. He talked about the design, key specs, and benchmarking results, among other things, in the video. He even added some camera samples in that video.
We are not sure how he managed to get hold of the device. However, the video appears to have the final version of the upcoming Nord 2T device. The device’s official packaging as well as the design is in line with the previous rumors and leaks.

OnePlus Nord 2T specifications and design
According to the video, the device will include a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The screen will include a punch-hole camera 32MP selfie camera and thin bezels. The device houses the volume control on the left-hand edge while the power and silence buttons are present on the right. Moreover, the rear camera setup includes two circular sensors. As per YouTube, the device houses a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP monochrome shooter.
Under the hood, the device is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. In the video, Karoul also talks about the benchmarks scores for the phones. This is not something we get to see often in the unboxing videos. Now, if we will go into details about the benchmarks; in the Geekbench benchmark, the device scored 719 points on single-core and 2,760 points on the multi-core setup. On the other hand, the AnTuTu score for the device is 622,964 overall. These are decent scores. However, the important thing to note here is these scores are not the true reflection of the phone’s everyday usage.
Furthermore, OnePlus Nord 2T will draw power from a 4,500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. However, it doesn’t support wireless charging, at least it appears like that for now. Plus, it will come pre-loaded with Android 12 with OxygenOS 12 skin on the top out of the box.
