The OnePlus 7 series, which consists of the OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7 Pro, and OnePlus 7T Pro, will soon receive a significant Oxygen OS update that will upgrade the devices to Android 12- the Oxygen OS 12.1. The popular OnePlus phones from 2019 were stuck with Oxygen OS 11 for a lot longer than people anticipated. As an update to Android 12 didn’t appear until months after Google released the Android 11 replacement.
For the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro, the latest update is the H.28 build, while the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro are receiving the F.16 build. Even though it’s two months late, the August security patch is still included in the latest builds to this point.
With the upgrade, Oxygen OS 12.1 receives a cosmetic makeover, as well as new features like the three-level dark mode, new Cards in the OnePlus Shelf, new app icons, and support for preventing spam MMS.

-The HyperBoost end-to-end frame rate stabiliser was just added.
-A newly introduced voice effect preview feature lets you record or instantly listen to your voice effect.
Work-Life Harmony
-The Work Life Balance function is now accessible to all users. It will enable you to quickly change between the Work and Life modes.
-With the addition of personalised App notification profiles and automatic Work/Life mode switching depending on specified locations, Wi-Fi networks, and times, WLB 2.0 has been released.
Canvas AOD
-Canvas AOD offers you fresh, different line and colour styles for a more individualised lock screen experience with motivational images.
-Newly added capability for colour modification, multiple brushes, and strokes.
Dark Mode
-Dark mode now supports three adjustable levels, bringing a more personalized and comfortable user experience
Self
-New additional style options for Cards, making data contents more visual and easier to read
-Newly added access to OnePlus Scout in Shelf, allowing you to search multiple contents on your phone, including Apps, Settings, Media Data, etc
