OPPO has just revealed the official launch date of the next-gen Reno series in India. The company is gearing up to release the Reno8 series in the Indian market on July 18th. So, we are still a couple of weeks away from the official release. What’s more, the release event for the Oppo Reno8 devices is scheduled to happen at 6 PM on July 18th. Users can view the event through YouTube.
Specifically, Oppo will release Reno8 and Reno8 Pro as part of the Reno8 series during the launch event. It is important to note that Reno8 Pro is a rebranded version of Reno8 Pro+ from China. Anyways, here is everything there is to know about the upcoming devices.

OPPO Reno8 Series Expected Specifications
As for specifications, the OPPO Reno8 Pro will come equipped with the Dimensity 8100 Max SoC, alongside MariSilicon X chip and 4K ultra night video. According to the Geekbench listing, the device might feature up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS3.1 storage. Moreover, the Reno8 Pro will don a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
For imaging, the device will feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro snapper. On the front, the smartphone features a 32MP snapper for selfies and video calls. Plus, it will pack a 4,500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.

On the other hand, the regular Reno8 sports a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It also features the Dimensity 1300 SoC with up to 3GHz clock speed. On the camera front, the device features a 50MP main camera and a 32MP front camera for selfies. Similar to the Pro variant, it also packs a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
Expected Price
According to recent leaks, the regular Reno8 variant should arrive in the following variants: 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256. They should cost Rs 29,999, Rs 31,990, and Rs 33,990 respectively. Whereas the Pro variant might cost between Rs 42,000 and Rs 46,000.
