OPPO Unveils ColorOS 12 Beta And Stable Release Dates

In September, OPPO first unveiled Android 12 in China. Soon after, the firm released the first beta build for Find X3 Pro users in Indonesia and Malaysia in early October. The company also revealed the schedule for the release of the ColorOS 12 Beta update for other devices. These devices include Reno 6 series, the Reno 5 series, the Find X2 series, and more. However, the release schedule didn’t include the exact date of the rollout. Anyways, the company has now shared some more details about the ColorOS 12 beta rollout in India. These details contain specific release date for the Find X2, Reno 6 series, F19 Pro+, A74 5G, among other devices.

ColorOS 12 Beta and stable release dates

According to an OPPO press release, the company will start releasing ColorOS 12 Beta for OPPO F19 Pro+ and Reno 5 Pro 5G on December 10. What’s more, the beta build will arrive to OPPO A74 5G starting December 28. The company has also revealed that it will release the stable update to the Find X2 on December 20. In addition, the stable release will come out on December 22 for Reno 6 Pro 5G and Reno 6 Pro 5G, and for Reno 6 5G it will arrive on December 28.

OPPO has also said the ColorOS 12 update for the aforesaid devices will roll out gradually on the given dates. In other words, you might not receive the update install, you may have to wait for a day or two. In case, you don’t see an update notification pop out automatically on your device; you can check the Software Update Section in device settings for the same.

As of now, OPPO has not revealed the timeline of release dates for other regions. Anyways, we expect the company to roll out the schedule in the coming days.
