OxygenOS 12 A.03 Out for OnePlus 10R

OnePlus released the R-series, a new premium smartphone with numerous SKUs and storage options, last month in India. Interestingly, the first update already made its way to the OnePlus 10R. Specifically, OnePlus has released the OxygenOS 12 A.03 update for the OnePlus 10R. It is carrying several improvements as well bug fixes.

If we go into details about the new OxygenOS 12 A.03 update; it optimizes battery usage in specific cases and improves user experience, according to the patch log. On top of that, it also improves OTG connection compatibility.

Moreover, the update is also carrying several bug fixes, as discussed earlier. According to OnePlus, the update will address the issue that caused some disruption when the smartphone was linked to a computer to transmit large files. The update also addresses an issue where the screen in Always-On Display mode displays improperly on occasion. Finally, the update also resolves the issue with the screen brightness after unlocking with the fingerprint.

Additionally, the new Oxygen OS update improves camera performance. OnePlus has said that the update will improve the sharpness of portrait images captured by the rear primary camera, once the update is installed on the device.

The OnePlus 10R has a starting price of INR 38,999 for the 8/12GB+ 80W variant. Whereas, the 12GB RAM variant with the same charging speed cost INR 42,999. Plus, there is a 150W variant with a 12GB/256GB storage option; it cost INR 43,999.

The most notable feature of the OnePlus 10R is support for 150W charging speeds. However, only the top-end models support 150W speeds. Besides that, the device is equipped with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, it packs the MediaTek Dimesnity 8100-MAX processor and there are multiple storage variants available, as discussed earlier. For imaging, there are three cameras on the back. There is a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP sensor. On the front, the device has a 32MP camera for video calls and selfies.

On the software front, the OnePlus 10R comes pre-loaded with Android 12 out of the box. The company is offering three major Android updates and four years of security patches with the device.
