OxygenOS 12 C.46 Addresses Bugs on OnePlus 9 Series

OnePlus took quite some time before rolling out the Android 12 update for the OnePlus 9 series. Since the company was working on combining its code base with Oppo’s ColorOS. However, the initial version was a buggy mess that was later removed in response to user complaints, which was more or less expected. After that the business has rolled out a few updates to address the identified issues. Now, it’s releasing a fresh software release-OxygenOS 12 C.46 for its 2021 flagship phones to fix the remaining flaws. However, it won’t be available in the United States.

OxygenOS 12 C.46 Changelog

What’s more, the OxygenOS 12 C.46 doesn’t appear to be a major update; it will fix issues with the Always On Display, Alexa, and overall system stability. It also includes the security patch for February 2022. The following is the whole changelog as released by OnePlus:

  • System
    • [Improved] system stability
    • [Fixed] the abnormal display of AOD
    • [Fixed] the issue of blurred screen in some scenarios
    • [Fixed] the issue that Alexa APP crashes in some scenarios
    • [Updated] Android security patch to 2022.02
  • Network
    • [Fixed] the issue that unable to register 5G network in some scenarios

OnePlus has not officially announced that the update is also carrying circular battery icon like earlier. However, it seems to be  part of the update.

Moreover, the update is limited to the Indian market as now. However, we might get to see a wider roll out for EU units in the next few dates. As previously discussed, the new update won’t makes its way to North America due to country-specific limitations.
