Every company wants to be in the spotlight but for good reasons. However, OnePlus is in the news for a wrong reason. Unfortunately, two noticeably older devices are currently stealing a lot of attention away. We’re referring to the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro released in 2021. These device recieved a pleasant quick Android 13 upgrade almost three months ago. The initial update was rolled out without any noticeable issues; customers didn’t complain about any bugs. However, a smaller subsequent collection of goodies built on the same OS encountered a significant problem.

OxygenOS 13 F.19 is causing issues
This OxygenOS 13 F.19 upgrade, was distributed to a “small portion of users” during the “past few days”. It bricked a huge number of devices. As a result, the company has to pause the rollout and investigate the issue.
It is likely that other users of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro installed the problematic update on their devices after the flaw was found. As the company’s response was not as “rapid.”
Thousands of users of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro are currently concerned about the software upgrade. However, the firm is also getting ready to introduce the OnePlus 11.
Besides the smartphone, the company will also annouce the OnePlus Pad, the firm’s long-rumored tablet, the new 11R, its first mechanical keyboard created in partnership with Keychron, and the Buds Pro 2 On February 7. Weekday blues may exist, but OnePlus has reason to be optimistic about the upcoming weekend.
Naturally, a subsequent version will include the same security patches, bug fixes, and hopefully actual stability improvements. We should get an update from the company soon.
