OnePlus began pushing out OxygenOS 13 incremental updates for OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro India devices, late last month. These updates included the OxygenOS 13 F.19 version. However, some owners of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro who loaded the OxygenOS 13 update with version numbers LE2111 11.F.19 (for the OnePlus 9) and LE2121 11.F.19 (for the OnePlus 9 Pro) have reported problems with their devices failing to boot. Now, it appears as if the company is rolling out a fix via OxygenOS 13 F.20 update.

In a blog post on its community website, OnePlus addressed the problem and advised customers not to install the aforementioned update. Users who are facing the problem were urged to visit their local support center.

Moreover, the company also assured users that they will get the device in its previous form without losing any data.

OnePlus has already started rolling out a new OxygenOS 13 F.20 update to resolve restarting issue caused by F.19

Anyways, OnePlus has already released a new update to address the device’s restarting problem. Again, the update is exclusively available to Indian customers and has the LE2111 11.F.20 for the OnePlus 9 and LE2121 11.F.20 for the OnePlus 9 Pro version numbers. Users running OxygenOS F.18 can install F.20 without having to deal with the F.19 update.

According to the company’s latest community blog post(opens in new window), OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro users in India will gradually begin receiving the new corrected version as an OTA update. In the upcoming days, a wider distribution of the update is also anticipated.

As per the changelog, the new F.20 version incorporates the Android security patch from January 2023 and claims to increase system stability. It includes a remedy for the situation where a system clone might not be made. The most recent update has also solved a few other issues that were well recognized.

Some UI components that sometimes appeared in Quick Glance on the Home Screen are also fixed. The adjustment of screen brightness while Auto brightness is activated is another problem that was fixed. Last but not least, the dependability of mobile network connections has improved.
