POCO M5 to Release on September 5 in India and Other Markets

After POCO teased their new release the POCO M5 launch in India through a trailer launch on social media, it also confirmed its release date in India and it is September 5. The company also revealed the design of its M-series smartphones. The M5 smartphone will feature Helio G99 SoC. Plus, it is marketed with the tagline” Build to outperform the most powerful smartphone” in its category. 

Another thing that the teaser video confirmed is that the POCO M5 will have a massive camera setup on the back with a dual-tone back body. Below you will find other specifications about the smartphone and details related to its release. 

Along with its release in India, Poco has planned a virtual event for the global audiences at 5:30 PM IST on September 5, the official launch date as of now. Viewers can go to the POCO’s official YouTube channel at the said date and time and witness the launch of this new Budget smartphone live.

POCO M5 Specifications

With a triple camera setup on the rear of the phone, the POCO branding is visible in the right corner. This will be a 4G budget smartphone with a dual-tone finish at the back and the back camera module is also black. Along with the triple camera setup, the camera module also features a standard LED flashlight. The specifications of the camera are not available yet. 

As mentioned earlier, no official word is out on the specifications of the smartphone but some leaks suggested that it will have a full HD+ 6.58-inch LCD panel and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The design also revealed that the chin bezel will be thick and it will have a water drop notch. Supporting 33-watt fast charging to charge a 5000 mAh battery it will be out with 6GB ram plus 128GB internal storage.  

It will run on Android 12-based native MIUI 13 out of the box and as mentioned above will sport a MediaTek Helio G99 4G SoC. The pricing of the phone will be available only with the official launch of the smartphone when it goes for sale on Flipkart in India but the leak suggested that it will be priced at around INR 13,000.
