Realme 8s 5G and 8i will be added in the 8s series and will arrive on 9th Sep, Company confirmed

Earlier this year, Realme announced its 8 series, which includes Realme 8 and 8 Pro. Now, the company announced, there will be two phones in the 8 series. The two phones include Realme 8s 5G and Realme 8i which will be coming on September 9.

The company confirmed the details of the phones in a press note that was sent to the media. According to the Realme, Helio G96 SoC will be present on the 8i model with a 120Hz screen, whereas Realme 8s 5G will be the world’s first smartphone that will come with Dimensity 810 chipset.

Additionally, both the devices will have Dynamic RAM Expansion (DRE) which helps the users to increase the RAM using the internal storage. 

This was some information that has been confirmed by the company. However, we have some previous leaks, that have shown us enough to have an idea of the upcoming two phones.

Details of Realme 8s 5G and 8i based on previous leaks

As per leaks, the 8s 5G will feature a 6.5″ display that will have a 90Hz of refresh rate. It could come with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. The smartphone may have a 64-megapixel primary camera and a 16MP selfie camera.

It could be equipped with 5000 mAh of battery which supports 33W charging. Moreover, it could run Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0.

Coming on the Realme 8i, It’s gonna feature a 6.59” FullHD+ display. In which the 16 MP Selfie unit is placed with a punch hole at the top left corner. Its rear panel set hosts a 50 MP of primary camera, a 2 MP macro lens, and a 2 MP depth sensor.

It’s speculated that the phone could come with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5000 mAh battery. In addition, the Realme 8i will carry the fingerprint sensor incorporated with the power button. The phone probably will run Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11.

We can get more accurate data within some days. But for the official unveiling, we have to wait until 9th Sep.
