Realme is getting ready to update its Realme 10 series with the introduction of the Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G smartphone. The device was initially set to arrive in India on September 8 but it got postponed. What’s more, the company is also working on a new Neo series. As per a report by FoneAreana, a tipster named Digital Chat Station recently divulged some important information about the Realme GT Neo 5 series, including specs. The company released the Realme GT Neo 3 series in March of this year. The smartphones from the series featured abilities like 150W fast charging.

Details about Realme GT Neo 5 series

The upcoming Realme GT Neo 5 series will likely be released by the first quarter of 2023. It will pack a Sony IMX890 primary sensor with OIS support. For comparison purposes, its predecessor used to feature the Sony IMX766 sensor.
Besides, some other reports also say that the Realme devices will arrive with two different battery models- BLP985 and BLP987. The former model is a 5,000mAh battery that might come on the standard Realme GT Neo 5. The charging speeds might be the same as that of the predecessor. On the other hand, the second battery variant-BLP987 is a 4,600mAh battery with support for 240W fast charging. The Realme GT Neo 5 240W variant will become the first phone to offer 240W fast charging.
We have already seen a 240W SUPERVOOC flash charge at Mobile World Congress from OPPO this year. According to documents, this tech can juice up a 4,500mAh battery to 100% in just about 9 minutes.
Apart from OPPO, iQOO has also released the iQOO 10 Pro smartphone with 200W fast charging support. The company is also preparing to launch the iQOO 11 Pro with the same fast charging.
